Hey Luella - thanks VM for your reply! How did you find out that the diffuser doesn't work as well the nebulizer? Is there something the diffuser does in the process of diffusing that negates the content of the mostly ionized silver from my SilverGen homebrew? Can you point me to any article about that?

I loved the idea of using the diffuser since it's dead quiet unlike the jackhammer sound of the nebulizer - which my wife always complains about. And without the noise, it's a much more pleasant experience overall.

BUT!! This was the first time that CS did nothing for my bronchitis and forced me to go with antibiotics. I started to think my SilverGen was broken and only pretending to make CS!

Yes it's no fun having weak lungs and dealing with the flu->bronchitis>pneumonia progression on a regular basis.
