In spite of your problems, your thyroid & female organs still require iodine. You might want to try a multi-vitamin pill that usually includes 50 to 100 micro grams of iodine.
IMO, even a tiny amount of Iodine found in these vitamin pills is better than no Iodine at all. You might also try getting your iodine from foods that are rich in iodine. http://health.facty.com/food/nutrition/14-foods-high-in-iodine/
