Re: Oregano Oil for Asthma?
I too am a 24-year-old woman that has suffered from chronic asthma for 20+ years. Thankfully, I am a practicing massage therapist, herbalist, and Reiki practitioner who majored in holistic health in college, so I have had much experience in this field. My parents were not raised holistically and had no idea the benefits until I was diagnosed with epilepsy and as a family, we became very holistic. I take 500mg capsules of oregano oil for 10 days at a time. OR if i do not have the capsules take 4 drops 4x daily for text days then take a week or two off from them so your body does not get too used to them. As for the CHIROPRACTOR listed above, DO NOT go see a chrio.. they do not know enough about treating asthma. I am a massage therapist studying to become a shaman, believe me people I see and I know from going to chiro myself that they do NOTHING, only make it worse...
Here is what i suggest: Physical therapy to get body back in order, massage such as lymphatic drainage (can youtube how to do some lymph drainage on yourself) cupping on your diaphragm would be AMAZING relief, and a massage tailored to your liking is fantastic for relaxing your body systems, but make sure you include ABDOMINAL MASSAGE, this will have all your major organs feeling so loved and getting back to normal!
Also look into taking magnesium complex, 500mg NAC & Vitamin combination, Quercetin, and bromelain
EAT MORE: veggies, fruits (especially citrus), easily digestible proteins (look into vegan proteins),omega-3 fatty acids like chia and flax seeds, warming broth soups with lots of veggies
AVOID: excess sugar, gluten, dairy, and bananas
Hope this was helpful!!
