It ain't the scriptures he quotes; it's the way he uses them. We have it all wrong. The Bible isn't Christo-centric; it's trapper-centric. It's his own personal backdrop to his daily 'struggles' with us.
And yes, I've heard of persecution complexes, but only trapper has refined it into a new art form. If what he's 'suffering' at our hands is persecution, then what exactly was it that those early christians were suffering when they were thrown to the lions in the arena, or used as human torches to light up Nero's palaces?
Has he confused dissent with persecution, I wonder?
