my generous offering of revelation

the official title: the uncovering of that which has been previously hidden about jesus christ (joshua the messiah, for you purists out there)

the only thing that makes this book truly a prophecy is in that christ is forever, so we will continue to see these things into the future forever.

evil men try to convince fools that things will happen accordint to these writings and then, through their lies and manipulations and worldly wealth and power, make them appear for the gullible to see. this stuff has already all been fulfilled, for the most part. and is indeed continuing to this day. we are indeed in the last days, just not the way all those mouthpieces of satan tell us it is.

the book of revelation is the scroll which john is told to eat. it is also written as a scroll so that the middle is the beginning and you can read forward or backward to the end. you figure out the rest.

with that in mind, some of my favorite passages.

4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

so this is clearly a message from both the father and the son and the seven spirits. do you remember what the seven spirits of god are?

Isaiah 11:2
and the

(1)spirit of the Lord

shall rest upon him, the

(2)spirit of wisdom and

(3)understanding, the

(4)spirit of counsel and

(5)might, the

(6)spirit of knowledge

and of the

(7)fear of the Lord;

thats right, kiddies. if your mind isnt on thiese things its not on god. just hang it up.

oh, lest not be too hasty here. who is jesus? all these fanciful notions i hear bandied about, and yet they dont fit this.

he is the true witness.what he says is as good as gold.

Proverbs 12:17
He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness...

Proverbs 14:5
A faithful witness will not lie...

Proverbs 14:25
A true witness delivereth souls...

notice there is no qualifier here. anyone who speaks the truth is righteous. anyone who is a true witness delivers souls. anyone who is a faithful witness will not lie.

Isaiah 19:20
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

Isaiah 43:9
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

Isaiah 43:10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Isaiah 43:12
I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

Isaiah 44:8
Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

jesus doesnt lie.


Matthew 15:18-20
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 these are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.


Matthew 23:30-32
30 and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.


John 1:6-8

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

John 5:37
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

do you believe him? its jesus! do you believe what he says?


John 18:36-38

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?

And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

so there is your setting and the cast of characters for this little scroll. the father, the son, the seven spirits, the seven churches. john, of course. and the little scroll itself. Tweet
