I also don't see in those scriptures above where God says only the people that follow men really closely should be concerned about his warnings about them, but for those that don't, you're fine.

A pastor falling into sin, even some really shocking sin, is still not in the same category as speaking falsely in the name of the Lord. Until you get how serious that is, then you won't understand why I think this is such a big deal.

Well I sure see a whole lot of videos coming out by all these false prophets that are speaking falsely in the name of the Lord. There seems to be no shortage of those. And there seems to be no shortage of people that endorse them. But for people that warn about that, they are really looked down on by so many. So what's wrong with that picture?

All the warnings in the bible, such as:

2 Tim. 4:3
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.
