I never trust a guy who talks out of the corner of his mouth. But slightly more seriously, ok, I shoudda been just a bit more precise in my choice of words - most of their followers invariably drift away. Remember that guy who scammed his followers' life savings out of them, then refused to refund them when his 'prophecies' flopped? I wonder how many followers he has now?
On the other hand, SDA's started off with a failed prophecy, and I believe they're still going strong. And how many failed predictions can be pinned on JW's? Simply put, there's no accounting for the depths to which human folly or gullibility will sink.
Speaking of which, did you know that the word 'gullible' is not in the dictionary?
