I had spent the last couple of weeks reducing my calorie-intake to get used to less food, as well as consuming more vegetables. I would eat on average 1200 calories a day and I actually dropped from 175 pounds to 166.6 pounds in those 2 weeks. I am a bit disappointed because this morning I went up to 168 pounds. Today I will be eating sushi (I am aware this is not the best choice because of the rice but I don't want it to go bad), cauliflower and carrots. I will also be drinking a laxative tea before the fast.
As of tomorrow I will begin a 14-day water fast. I hope to go for at least 10 days. During the water fast, I will not be eating and only drinking up to 2L of water/day. I will not be putting anything else inside my body, with the exception of a laxative tea every few days if I feel bloated.
This will be my very first water fast. I had done a master cleanse for 5 and 10 days in the past. Any advice, support would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anybody would like to join that'd be awesome. Fasting4health will be Water Fasting too, but the more the merrier!
