Re: Help with Pyrantel doses and round worm protocols

I got a prescription for pyrantel, 250 mg twice a day for ten days. I don't understand this dose for round worms. It seems that you all have taken it before. I thought the dose was once and then repeat in two weeks. I would appreciate any advice because Im not sure the doc knows about this and I don't want to poison myself, and I have two kids I am trying to treat with the OTC pyrantel and if it doesn't work well I need to know. I asked the pharmacist and he thought I should ask the doctor and not fill it. How will I ever know if these are gone. They only come out when you kill them... ? I did the clark protocol of 18 days plus 5 weekly treatments and I am still seeing evidence. I don't understand how this is possible.

Also I am into fasting for other health reasons, to cure insulin resistance, and I am not sure if thats a bad idea if you have worms. I will do whatever it takes, just can't figure out what protocol you are discussing on this thread. I seem to be missing something but in general it looks like you all are knowledgable and can answer my questions so forgive me for butting into this thread :) Thanks
