Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Thrice times oh dear. Well, I won't say I'm ready to give up on Trapper - at least, not quite yet anyway. But you gotta admit ladies, it would take a month of sundays to disabuse him of all the misapprehensions under which he labours.
Where to begin? And that old canard about the conflict between the OT and NT? Again, seriously? From someone who ostensibly recognizes the authority of the Word? There will come a point, if it hasn't already arrived, when you will both realize that Trapper exists on a different plain from the rest of us. That's why he sees things we can't see. It's what gives him legitimacy in his own mind - makes him right even, while we all languish in a sea of errors and lack of understanding. Quite apart from his constantly shifting position, which makes it virtually impossible to pin him down on anything. Witness his apparent change of mind over the Adam/God/Jesus connexion. And that nonsense about whether Jesus is the Father.
No, I fear we might all be wasting our time here, but for the benefit that might accrue to others from seeing how a soul can lose its way. Still, valiant effort vekky. It was always worth one last shot, but I'm afraid the result was easily foreseeable.
I'm curious tho. His numbered supporter here - is he/she our erstwhile JW friend who occasionally swoops in to put us all right on Jesus' deity?
