Re: do you know why there is wailing and gnashing of teeth in the darkness?
" I do think you need to respect others better,"
ill take that criticism.
i dont have any respect for pretence. someone who is trying, someone who is struggling, making honest mistakes - thats one thing. doing the same thing over and over when you know better? that requires a stronger hand. not caring to know better? and even stronger hand. pretending you know better when you dont? well, that leads little ones astray and i dont see any need to put up with that at all. they need to be corrected and the errors shown for what they are.
Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
dont think this means offense like said a naughty word or something. [funny how people will take offence at the F word if you use it in front of them but then pay money to have someone spew the word at them in a theater] it means leading them astray. telling them things that arent true. giving them fairy tales instead of straight answers.
frankly, one should not embark on a journey to seek the lord without serious contemplation. have you counted the cost? are you worth your salt?
Luke 14:25-34Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
the people on this board dont think this way. they think its all fun and games. they have no idea. none.
