An additional thought. You are taking iron. I've found having enough iron is very important for keeping my hair. If your iron stores are still not high enough, your faster metabolism -- shown by the higher body temperature -- will be depleting them even more. If you have a ferritin lab result, try to maintain it 100-120 ng/mL (about 225-270 pmol/L). Serum iron and saturation % are also important, but ferritin seems to drive my rate of hair loss.
