Thank you for the source. You're right about the trial and error. The official information about doses seem wildly inaccurate.

Take for instance the regimen of Hymenolapsis nana according to most: 3 days @ 1 gram split dose. Yet according to this study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6731683 it suggests that 50mg/kg was needed to treat it.

50mg/kg is a heck of a lot more than
a fixed 1g a day. It's strange how inconsistent the treatments are.
