Ok so like i already thought the "new skin layer" was basically a temporary optical state.

Im convinced my condition is the weirdest along every single claim on this website.

When i apply aquaphor and talk for a little bit you can clearly see (and feel) that the EC effected area on my lips has no structure and is not flexible. Once i apply coconut oil and let it sit for a minute you can see the typical vertikal lines on the corners on my lips. Right in the center the skin is still not connected and you notice air underneath it.

And now there is the most frustrating fact about everything, even on the outer parts where the skin seems to be fine it feels horrible and weird. They get dry in seconds when i dont apply anything and i guess that even over time when there is some sort of new skin on the center of my lips they will never be functional again.

I am very depressed at the moment and also in therapy. We are all so delusional and think we can cure this. This shit is so much bigger than us.
