Thank you, it's a concept that I have been working on for the last week.
The only meaningful change I have seen over the years is that inflammation in my lips disappeared (this has been confirmed in a biospy of the middle of my bottom lip in 2010). This happened after I followed MontrealHomegrown's diet for about 6 months (!), i.e. exclusion of unnatural Sugar and white flower. Technically this means that I no longer have EC (the 'itis' in 'cheilitis' refers to an inflammatory condition), although they are still very much exfoliating. The major difference is that now they are no longer super sensitive/ painful during talking, smiling etc.
I stopped using Aquaphor for about 1.5 months now. I only apply a double coating of GIAB on raw skin (~every 4 days), which manages the condition somewhat.
