My only thought is that you might consider remaining on Iodine daily, 100-150 mg. My husband had cleared bromine from his lungs and after some time of high doses (1000 mg SSKI (764 mg iodide)), dropped his maintenance dose too low to 30 mg SSKI (23 mg iodide). This left him scrambling eventually when he worked in two buildings with new furnishings (fire retardants), and his lungs rebelled fiercely. It took 1400 mg SSKI (1070 mg iodide) for several months for him to stop coughing up bromine. His maintenance dose this time will likely be no less than 600 mg iodide, after he stops working in those buildings.
