I completely understand. It's that "desperation mode" I know all too well. But still I don't think removing the lips would be a good approach. Who says that it won't feel just as bad or even worse than now? Who says that removing/reducing the lip area will get off the inflammation?

Have you talked to a doctor about maybe trying something like strong immunosupressive drugs, like Cyclosporine or something like that?

At least one person seems to have success with that (I believe she was/is using Gengraf and an anti depressant). That might be something that I might try next if my current "approaches" don't result in my condition going back to it's somewhat dormant state.
