My dad bought a house yesterday and it has those popcorn ceilings that are filled with asbestos. My husband and dad are going to remove them but I wanted to make sure they would be protected while doing that, so I did some research about it all.
In my research, I found a young guy that was freaking out because he had spent days removing a ceiling like this without any protection and without wetting it down, so he was just breathing in all the dust. When you read about what all can happen if you don't protect yourself properly, it is kind of frightening.
And this is how someone replied to this guy's fears. Maybe this could work in all kinds of ways, lol:
"Here's an idea. Watch this video and every time you hear the words, "being buried alive in a box," substitute the word, 'asbestos.'"
