and candida....obviously, you cannot build your gut flora while taking medications, doesnt mean it cant help.....but it does mean you do have to continue your probiotics for a good while after you are done because you are going to kill them off quite a bit too......on the upside if you are using probiotics during or immediately after and continue use, then they get a chance to get ahead since you started them after knocking down all the other ones inside you??......and some probiotics benefit and go everywhere in the body once established, they dont stay in your gut.......evidenced by it now being known and accepted that eating lots of yogurt treats vaginal yeast infections, so some microbes traveled somewhere and took out a yeast infection didnt they?? .....so thats great news for people trying to treat for candida, you could also try taking an antifungal, like diflucan for a few days once a day or every other day since it stays in the body so good and inhibit the candida growth while loading up on kefir and/or tibicos giving those probiotic bacterial microbes a chance to get ahead?? for a week or two? but no Antibiotics while trying that............Im sorry but you cant "get rid" of candida, it will always be there waiting for its chance to get ahead of you again if you ever slip on your diet long enough in the future or your immune system gets weakened by some other illness.......it will never be " all gone".
