Iodine and Seborreic Keratosis?

I like to think I can treat Iodine for everything :) so that bring me to a skin diagnosis I got.. Seborreic Keratosis (sp?)
I got a few of them back in 2013 around bra line. I got 3 more pop and went to the dermatologist in a panic- it came back with some erythema this time so she said its time to biopsy... Cue more panic for me! I did get the result back it was "very irritated Seborreic Keratosis) only 6 spots total that form right along my bra line and doesn't suspect being anymore than a hereditary issue and no underlying health issues. Some people gets hundreds... Umm no thanks.

My Dermatolgist says Iodine has inflammatory proprieties and will only make this worse... But she also gives me chemical filled creams to put on dry skin I do not use so.., how much does he know?

So I have been putting coconut oil and Iodine on the spots twice a day.. They are fading. The red spots still there but can iodine make his worse? Any other recommendations for this?
