You might try oil pulling. Swish 1-2 tablespoons organic sesame oil for 10-20 minutes twice a day. It might help especially if bromine is present in your saliva and irritating your tongue. You'll know if the oil is stinky when you spit it out. Beyond that, be sure to take at least a B complex, magnesium, and selenium to work with the iodine. Consider using salted water to help bromine excretion via the chloride.
