Looks like the best method to test if you still smell bad is animals. I had dogs bark at me and not at other people when I smell bad. So if you think that people are lying to you when you ask if you smell bad, try approaching as many different dogs as you can for several days, let them smell your hands first, and then see if they bark at you.
