Hello, since I developed exfoliative cheilitis 8 years ago I've only managed to keep it decently under control (healty diet, less smoking, no alcohol ecc), my real problem is the color as my lips are shiny red (not good for a male, it ruined my self confidence and my social interactions). Yesterday I tried Apple Cider Vineagar (with water), it was painful but my lips became instantly pink (like never before, I couldn't recognise myself)I was shocked, but the problem is the after one minute they already turned red again. What do you think about it? Fungal infection? Honestly I find hard to believe it as I've never abused of Antibiotics and I tested negative for a lot of infection that could have weakened my immune system (HIV included). Is it possible for a healthy young male to have a persistent -8 years- candida infection on the lips with no apparent reason? I also tested negative for intestinal candida.
What do you think guys? Thank you
Luca from Italy
