I have had some weird side effects with different supplements as well.

My only thought is that your Depression may have nothing at all to do with serotonin. Have you tried Wellbutrin? Better yet would be to read the book: "the way up from down" for free at http://www.thewayup.com and attempt the dopamine protocol. And remember the B-Complex! This is very important when taking supplements so they are properly absorbed.

Strange though, at 2 weeks after starting a major pharmo-anti depressant like paxil, zoloft, etc, you really shouldn't feel anything significant. ALthough I am all natural now, I have been on these meds and the build up was always very slow. The first 2 weeks shouldn't really be a high dose either assuming your doctor is competent..

Anyway, serotonin is not always related to depression. Neurochemistry is very complex. Sometimes Depression is related to something completely different, like norepinephrine being burned in the spine due to stress.
