Re: HighOnWater hope this one is emotional enough for you.

We don't get second changes after we die, after our souls depart from our physical bodies for good. So you're right. The "second chance" term was bad wording on his part. Sometimes we go through experiences that cause us to see the truth of things. Going through a near death experience causes this to happen in some cases. They all have to be tested with scripture because the demonic realm has supernatural powers that they use to deceive people. Some people may have been taken to a mock heaven or hell by the enemy to deceive. Some of these stories are also made up by man to deceive. Obviously when someone is giving a testimony and says that they saw people in hell for not tithing, we know that story cannot be from God because "forced/required/bound to" tithing is a false doctrine. Christians who have studied this out and have not just taken the word of ministers know the truth of it.

The Bible says that it is appointed unto men once to die. Therefore once a person has experienced this they cannot come back. They cannot be raised from the dead by prayer or medical doctors. There will be no second chance.

If you classify all the others as "near death" because it was not their appointed time, then they may benefit from what they learned by that experience.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" Hebrews 9:27
