Re: Do people who have never heard the gospel go to hell?

Just throwing these questions out, and I might throw others out as I think of them. I don't expect anyone to answer, well unless they want to.


John 5:
28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.


If it's true that believers go directly to heaven when they die, then those in heaven will have been hearing the voice of the Lord already, so how does this passage make sense?

And does God send the spirits and souls that have been consciously dwelling with him in bliss back into the tombs? Tweet
