Refreshed: The glorified body was the body Jesus had when He showed up to visit with the disciples with after He came back from heaven.

Rainy: I disagree in that I believe Jesus got His glorified body when He rose from the dead. Is there any scripture that shows that Jesus went to heaven to get a glorified body between the meeting with Mary and the meeting with Thomas? Is there any scripture that shows that Jesus ascended to the Father between those two times? Or, was Mary clinging to Him in desperation to keep Him from leaving her again? When Jesus told her that she must not cling to Him because He has to ascend to the Father He was letting her know that He must leave her again to go to the Father. That is why He asked her to stop touching Him. I believe that it could have been translated this way. There is some teaching on this if you do a search. I don't believe that Jesus ascended to the Father until the actual ascension when He was seen going up in the clouds. Thomas was not clinging to Him to get Him to not leave. Therefore, He did not have to ask Thomas to not touch Him. Tweet
