Re: Do people who have never heard the gospel go to hell?

No I don't believe that the spirit that God breathed into us is the same as our glorified body. The glorified body was the body Jesus had when He showed up to visit with the disciples with after He came back from heaven. It's a body that is the best of both worlds...spirit and physical, but better...eternal. It was the body He had when He was with Thomas when Jesus told him to touch His nail scared hands and side. Yet He could walk through walls and also eat. A spirit form can not do all the things a glorified body can.

We are talking about two different resurrections as well. There is the spiritual resurrection where christians go to heaven. But we have been also talking about the second resurrection that happens at the 1000 year reign of Christ. That one is not as clear to me. So I'm not going to be sharing much on that...but you can read up on it sometime if you would like.

So as you can see, this is much more complicated to debate. So much can be thrown into the mix to discuss at one time. It's too hard to break down into pieces so we can look at it closer...well not impossible, but I doubt if any of us wants to invest that much times and effort into it. I think we all know the outcome anyway.

So to make it clear...I was not talking about ours or Jesus' spirit or soul dying. Only the flesh. Sorry if that wasn't explained well enough.
