I don't understand what you are disagreeing with me about here. I actually believe differently than Refreshed as to when we get our glorified bodies. I believe we get our glorified bodies at our resurrection. I believe Jesus got His glorified body at His resurrection from the dead. It was only His physical body of flesh that died. He received His new physical glorified body when He was resurrected. He did not need to have His spirit body raised from the dead because it never died. It went into the heart of the earth for three days and nights. Maybe you just assumed I believed like Refreshed does on this issue. I agree with Refreshed on most things, but I could not understand her thinking on this one. I didn't want to take the time to question her on it. I guess because I was silent, you thought I agreed since we do agree on so much. Jesus did not want Mary to touch Him because He had not yet ascended to the Father, not because he did not have a glorified body. If we do not get our glorified bodies at our resurrection what do we get? Our spirits and souls do not need to be resurrected. Death means separation in the Bible. Physical death means our physical bodies separate from our spirits and souls. At our resurrection our spirits and souls are united with our glorified bodies. Spiritual death means we are separated from God. Eternal spiritual death means we are separated from God for all eternity. These are the three biblical deaths.

The only disagreement I see is that you do not believe that our spirits and souls go immediately to God when we die. I guess you believe in soul sleep. If not, where do you believe our spirits and souls go when we die? The scripture you quoted makes perfect sense to me with my beliefs. Our spirits and souls cannot die in the way our natural minds think of death. This is why some people think they are sleeping. Cults believe this way. Tweet
