I had a bad reaction towards the BP medicine which I only took 1/2 dose - sent me in an autoimmune reaction. The enzyme for high BP (angiotensin) is related to immune reactions, so the med stopped that enzyme that is vital to immunity. I am not saying not to take but I would observe and talk to the doctor about reactions.
Matt is right, the BP will amp up with increased immunity
