Re: Could use help with a test.
By helped do you mean permanently cured? Because
Colloidal Silver or excessive salt would kill skin residing lactobacillus!
I considered
Colloidal Silver , but rejected it after meeting a man with argyria (silver buildup in thee skin), his nail recession was consistent with something (such as Candida) attacking the cuticle of his nails, and looked identical to a fungal infection of the hand. Also, due to the heavy silver concentration it could not have been bacterial as silver is heavily antibacterial!
Antifungal at 0.3-4.4 ug/mlhttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21756192

Antibacterial at 2-4
Hmmm... That means at 0.3-2ug/ml (micrograms per millimeter, it inhibits fungus better than bacteria... I think.
Depends on the bacteria, but interesting potential, still, at 4ug per ml or higher, you are killing both the candida and the bacteria that prevents it's return!
Salt likely has a mic, but the right amount of salt makes lactobacillus feel at home while hampering candida, look at sauerkraut, made with salt, and lactic acid bacteria thrive.
