Traditional Indian chutney has cilantro, ginger, Sea Salt , green chilies and lemon a key ingredient. Many restaurants s in New York add Sugar to it, which I don't. If one desires sweet taste then add small amount of raw honey.
One of the best side condiment you can have.....mmmmm.
One other traditional Gujarat, India chutney is cayenne, raw garlic, sesame oil ans Sea Salt . They eat half teaspoonful everyday with millet bread.
