Re: Periodontal Disease

I can tell you emphatically YES! In May of 2014, I was diagnosed with a severe case of periodontitis disease. I mean I had pockets that were 10, 11, and 12s. The dentist even said I would probably have to get 3 or 4 teeth removed. Well, I went to a periodontitis specialist who confirmed this. I went on a 3 week fast and also brushed and flossed and when I saw that same dentist 8 months later, he was so shocked that my 10, 11, and 12 pockets had reduced to 3s and 4s. He asked me what did I do. If I had taken any herbs or anything else because he had never seen anything like it. I told him no. But i did go on an extended fast to cure my high BP and other ailments I had. I didn't know what was the cause either. So I did some research on gum disease and fasting and found out that there is a connection in Water Fasting and healing of periodontitis disease. Once my body cured all of my other ailments, it started healing my damaged gum tissue and whallah, I no longer have periodontis disease. I now fast ten days a month for health reasons and I've never felt better. It's amazing how your body heals itself when it doesn't have to focus on food digestion.
