I think it must be different for everyone. I worked out (less intensely) for most of it...keeping to my regular workout schedule...i.e. 5 days a week. I did not get the bonk out feeling that Markus refers to. It was exactly opposite..I was the energizer bunny.
Personally I would fall asleep walking or doing yoga...I just did minimal interval training and lifted really really light.

It was my first time doing the cleanse...maybe next time I'll try to really relax and do NOTHING.
