Re: Oil massages and baths in the days before a liver flush
Actually you got it wrong again. Nowhere in his books did he advise to not consume dairy products. He was a low level ayurvedic practitioner imo, which included just the very basic, and sometimes, misinterpreted constitutional principles. There is no veganism in ayurveda and there are no hard rules that cannot be broken in appropriate situations. Eating meat would be advised in extreme weakness, and conversely veganism would be advised in extreme overweight cases. Veganism is an extreme so you will have to deal with whatever consequences arise from your choice.
Try some ayurvedic hospitals. I can't imagine that you'd have a hard time finding a good ayurvedic doc in India.
Veganism might be good for you or it might be bad for you. The only way to know is to try both roads.
I have done all sorts of external oil treatments, and they are good, but they're not in the same league as flushes. The problem with flushes is that they are yet another extreme.
If you put a lot of little pieces together such as proper diet, panchakarma, herbs, lifestyle, oil treatments, etc then you might be able to achieve something similar to flushes. Moritz said that he couldn't do it with diet.
