A link to a story from a BBC news article entitled "Infants need mental health checks" (!!).
"The problems go beyond tantrums and bad behaviour and impact negatively on all aspects of an infant's life, the Institute of Psychiatry will hear. [snip] He believes that screening for and treating these disorders in babies and infants is the way forward - waiting until childhood or adulthood is too late."
It's an interesting read and one to seriously consider both for those who were medicated from an early age AND for parents (some of whom are easily frightened into applied hypochondria towards their children).
