The treatment fails, because it is based on a wrong theory. 1954 is the year to remember, where the French health organization was about to declare, that cancer is viral disease of the stem cells. Instead SMT took over and became dogma. Tumor is a bio marker of the interaction between a driving virus and host resistance. Once virus is silenced, or its load is reduced, a cure or remission can be expected (as for instance with spontaneous remissions of Dr Coley patients).
