Re: Hole in sinus after tooth extraction! Need some good advice please.

DON'T do it!
Leave the hole alone, crazy glue it buy a denture to cover it...anything!
I had the same thing happen to me, hole in my gum would not close, food was getting into my sinus cavity and infection...my doc did a MRI...90% of my right sinus cavity had fluid.
They drilled a "drainage hole" in my right sinus.
Because of the direct path to my lower sinus, infection after infection.
This is because there are hairs in your nose to catch foreign debris and allergens before they can get into a place that you do not have to "nettle them out consistently".
I lived with that hole for almost a year...doc says now chronic sinusitis...
I did not have the benefit of this experience of which I pass to any one who will read it.
YOU WERE BORN WITH APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF HOLES IN YOUR HEAD!
I realized that if I re-open the hole because it had healed as a hole it may heal.
OUCH, used a disposable scalpel making an "X" out of the hole....kept it clean (no alcohol) and now its healed...now I want a patch in the butchers hole in my sinus...dont go down that road!
