Chose what you feel will fit your life and address your health issues best. I love veggie juicing and green juice fasts, but some people can't stand the taste. Others love orange juice fasts, but my blood Sugar can't handle O/J.
One fast I'm contemplating is a food rotation fast, where one eats only one food per day, changing it each day. Apples one day, oranges the next, green veggy the next, etc. Supposedly this rests the digestion without total elimination of solid food.
My interpretation of The Master Cleanse is to be a spiritual cleanse, as well as a physical cleanse. It would be hard for me to do while "getting on with life". Perhaps my life isn't spiritual enough...
