I wouldn't go too high, though SSKI appears to be easier on the system than Lugols or even iodoral as those two really detox you hard from my experience.

I think with liver problems you'd want to go really light on Iodine, I can't give an accurate dosage but definitely lower than 12.5mg? Maybe a veteran here can correct me, but because even though you will be detoxing it still puts strain on the organs that filter the body such as the liver and kidneys.

Though I wouldn't discourage Iodine outright, as if you detox properly and slowly it will help your liver and all other organs in the long run. Good luck.
