Re: There aren't any alternatives
Survivor,
You story was great. I am now 40+ years free of smoking. Yet I know that if I were to inhale just ONE cigarette, I would be addicted all over again. So I know better that to light up just one more time.
I know this because I had quit once before and went 2 years without. One day I had a weak moment & thought I could smoke just one "for old time sake." WRONG! That day I just HAD to buy a pack and of course I was hooked again. It was 2 more years before I worked up the courage to quit once again.
Now it has been 40+ years since my last smoke and I am still addicted. I DARE NOT smoke another cigarette. A smoker is addicted for life.
Also, smoking precipitated my lung problems. Since I've quit, I catch every chest cold that comes around, I suffer asthma, and my lungs are extremely sensitive. Thank GOD I recently discovered
Colloidal Silver that stops my chest colds & asthma problems in days.
