Re: To those who have fully/almost recovered

How long did it take to recover?

It's about 5 yrs now. It could be much faster if I started experimenting earlier. I worked with Dr. Lam. He is experienced but still does not know everything.

And how long did it take for the initial brain fog, depression, lethargy, and extreme tiredness to fade away a little?

3 to 6 months in my case. I took a lot of vitamins suggested by Dr. Lam.

I could talk but everything else was extremely difficult. The best position was horizontal. Well, half sitting because i could not sleep in horizontal position.

L-glutamine helped me with brain fog and energy level. When I worked with Lam, he did not say anything about l-glutamin. Nowadays, he gives it along with vitamins.

Another problem i had was conversion T4 to T3. I figured it out myself. nobody could point me to that.

I tried once iodine. It coould be dangerous. It gave me pain when swallowing. My TSH went close to 3 yet I felt shitty.

My serum iron was low-normal. Iron is necessary for the conversion and so is selenium.

Now, i am very close to be 100%.

Do you have digestive problems?

Klauss.
