Hyperinfection yet no fever?

Hyperinfection but no fever? The literature states that in disseminated disease, there is usually always a fever. The exact opposite has happened to me since hyperinfection. I never get fevers anymore, even when I had C.Diff. Isn't it true that the parasites evade the host's immune system, disregulating it? For instance, I have lymphopenia so I don't run fevers even though I am really physically ill and I don't sweat like I used to when the Ascaris were in my intestines.

Heading to Massachusetts General on Monday. Thank goodness.

Good health to all,
vch
