Ashwagandha instead of synthroid?

"I am on 75mcg synthroid since May when diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I am considering taking ashwaganda instead mainly because since starting synthroid and metformin in May I have been diagnosed with Lupus, Raynauds and Scleroderma. I don't understand why when I was healthy before this and am eating a healthily. Also I have have poor circulation but in the last 6 months this is also significantly worse. So my idea is to naturally treat the circulation and the hypothyroid and hopefully the others will disappear or be contained. Is it a good idea to switch please and if so is there any other supplement you recommend. I am already taking a lot of different supplements based on internet research and experimenting. Thank-you
