Re: God's People Pray
LOL, well Refreshed you just might be right about outliving the children:) and as you say it is not funny at all albeit my sons have pretty physical jobs at the moment but they both are heading for the office !!???
In fact one is doing a university course at the moment to turn out these dreaded "apps" that we are inundated with.
The other son, my eldest, is heading for management with UK Power, so sedentary jobs appear to be their future.
As for the grandchildren Freddie has started playing Golf (the range) but relies upon his father to get him there because I had this bright idea to sell my car when I retired, to walk to keep me alive over ten years ago but now I'm relative fit I need it again, lol.
I like your idea of swimming but my wife doesn't like the water, huh! There again we have toxins just as one get's on the Golf course, good life eh?
Mind you I'd love to be astride one of your horses in your place for here there is not the open land available that exist in the US:)
Oh yes, that book, I have abandoned it.
After I spoke to you in reference I thought to myself why am I reading yet another account about how others "see" God etc. when I am happy with what I've acquired in these past ten years (much from yourself, thank you:)
I see no gain, if that's the word from pursuing any further.
I often read that one must never stop questioning but if one is at one with the Lord what is the point I ask?. It might be because I found spirituality along the way, I don't know but I guess that must be it.
I guess I must be a Christian yet I am at odds with religion because of others intolerance towards those who have different beliefs.
I am, I guess intolerant of religions that kill, maim etc. because they break rules and it appears it's getting worse, only if 'love' was the heart of all our beliefs.
I believe it will be one day in the near future:)
