There are many names and titles given to our Savior.
Revelation 19:15From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."
"Word of God"...."word of God". They go together no matter how you slice it. No pun intended.
All those names point to Him...all tell a little more of the story of who He is and what He is doing. Today we don't give as much importance to names as they did in the days of old.
Will the people have enough knowledge of the different names to "know" their Savior when He returns? Will just knowing him as "Teacher" be enough? Or just knowing Him as "Prince of Peace"? Knowing Him deeply by all His names will be needed, as well as a close personal relationship. It will be greatly needed when those who falsely claim to be the Christ try and take His authority away from Him.
