The thing is though how to you really know the crusts on your lips are gone if you haven't kept them dry for atleast a week or two? Cause you've been applying cream on your lips like every half hour so thats so much cream absorbed into your skin that even if you keep them dry for 2 or 3 days they maybe arent dry at all with all the moisture already absorbed into them. The crusts could still be waiting to creep out after all that moisture is gone meaning that they are falsly healed and rather maintained/soaked with cream and not cured at all.
