Re: Herbal resistance true?

Resistance happens if an organism contains certain DNA. There is coding within some organisms that can prevent substances from working.

The first key in treatment is to determine Antibiotic sensitivity. Sensitivity means what substance has the capacity to kill an organism. For instance organism X may be sensitive to substance A and B but substance Q has no effect.

If you take Substance Q then nothing will happen. If you take A or B or A and B then the organism will be show signs of being destroyed within a 7-10 day window. You will know it is working. (7-10 days is not enough time to eradicate IMO but serves as a time marker to see if something is happening)

If the organism is resistant then after day 10 you will revert back to sickness. The reason why this happens is due to a specific DNA action. This is also know as ND1 proteins. This specialized protein is a detector, a sensor of sorts. Its job is to detect when a substance is killing the family then it memorizes the chemical code and stores that information.

Since the information is stored and you put Substance A or B back in then it is negated. Efflux pumps are literal pumps that act in the cells like bilge pumps in a boat. So the organism memorized the chemical, the chemical travels to the organism. Now the organism knows the chemical and it switches it efflux pumps on and pumps it out of the cell thus saving it from death.

Sounds like Science fiction.
