I'm on day 11 and I don't use the lax tea; just the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) consisting of two teaspoons of unrefined coarse Sea Salt in a quart of water. I make it up with a pint of boiling water in the morning to dissolve the salt and then cool it with a pint of room temperature water. It's like a warm broth in the morning to my palate. I've seen on the forum that others have also experienced what you're describing and seem to do well with just the SWF.
