Clew, That banded thing (hair worm) in the last photo, I believe I have identified. I have found those at times when I have had a lot of activity. Once I found a ball of them together and they were moving. I think these are something called Polytene Chromosomes (do a google image search). They are extra large chromosomes used in genetic engineering. They are usually found in the salivary tubes of fly larva, especially those of fruit flies and midges. They are also found in collembola (springtails). These large chromosomes allow RAPID DNA replication which accelerates the growth of the larva. These chromosomes are being spliced and diced in genetic engineering. I think these are one of the reasons why morgellons seems to grow right back rapidly when you attack it. Just another ingredient in the witches brew. :-(
